music The music of rebellious youth, rock and roll, came into its prime during the 1960s. While there were rock bands in the 1950s, the 1960s is the decade that defined rock music.By the end of the   50s   American rock music seemed like a passing fad, but a new sound swept the nation from overseas.  The British were coming! Britain had tried to produce rock acts in the 50s, but no group had gained traction in the U.S. In the late 50s and early 60s a new crop of bands emerged, often heavily influenced by African American music such as R&B and blues. The fusion of rock music with these other genres allowed the British bands, known as the British Invasion, to create a new sound that caught on on both sides of the Atlantic. the most genres were rock , folk music , country music and others .

Fashion characteristics in the 60s  in this time the most of people use the pastry colors as pink , yellow and pourple t’s almost like the 1950s bottled everyone up so much that the late 1960s exploded like an old pressure cooker. Women were showing more skin than ever before. in the 60s fashion is bipolar bacausein the early sixties were more reminicent of the 1906 conservative and restrained certainly more clasic in the style  and design , in 60s the idol was jackie kennedi because his mixture the colors white and black  , the woman use a  tshirt very short . after her husbands assassination    Jackie was no longer in the public eye. Women had to find a new 1960s fashion idol to be inspired by.brigitte was that woman. She was Jackie’s opposite. Jackie we  put together, simple  modest. Brigitte was tacky, cheap, bold,  even silly.
